A showcase celebrating the brightest and boldest in Irish design, now in its eight year, CREATE celebrates the extraordinary work of 25 talented designers across ready-to-wear, accessories, millinery jewellery and interiors.

BT Fashion Director Shelly Corkery says: “Celebrating Brown Thomas’ ongoing support and commitment to the importance of Irish design, CREATE marks a very exciting time every year. It gives our customers the opportunity to discover both a carefully selected edit of designers at the forefront of Irish design today and those who are fast emerging.”

CREATE 2018 continues to showcase the best and the brightest in Irish design. It takes place on Level 1, Brown Thomas Dublin for six weeks from Tuesday, 3rd July 2018.

Designers contributing to CREATE 2018 include Richard Quinn, Lainey Keogh, Fintan Mulholland, Mariad Whisker, Sarah Murphy, Jill & Gill, Alanagh Clegg of Four Threads, Amie Egan, Pearl Reddington, Michelle Kearns, Leonora Ferguson, Helena Malone, Bláithín Ennis, Ale Walsh, Deirdre Duffy of Wild Cocoon, Una Burke, Katie Larmour, Suzie Beggan of Mookie & Boo, Alla Sinkevich, Emer Roberts, Debbie Millington, Éadach by Sara O'Neill, Domino Whisker, Paul Stafford of The Season Hats and Faye Dinsmore.

Building on Brown Thomas' continued partnership with NCAD, this year's bursary winner and ‘Designer to Watch’ Alla Sinkevich exhibits her final year collection ‘Existential Nomad’ at CREATE.

An immersive experience, NCAD MA, 2nd and 3rd year students were also invited to create bespoke limited edition prints for the iconic and most importantly sustainable Brown Thomas shopping bag throughout CREATE.

As BT Fashion Director Shelly Corkery says: “Gaining commercial experience is vital and we are proud to support homegrown talent with an invaluable retail platform, while helping keep the Irish fashion industry moving forward.”
